Exploring the Opportunities for Research to Integrate Advanced Coal Technologies with CO2 Capture and Storage in China August 22-23, 2005 Beijing, China Sponsored by Stanford University's Global Climate and Energy Project (GCEP) and co-hosted by China's Tsinghua and Zhejiang Universities, this workshop explored opportunities for technical, fundamental research in advanced coal utilization integrated with CO2 capture and storage in China. The workshop brought together government officials, academic researchers, industry leaders, and non-governmental organizations. All sessions were held on the Tsinghua University campus in Beijing. GCEP would like to thank Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and the Energy Foundation for their efforts in organizing the workshop.
